The ideal candidate should have good customer care skills and experience in a kitchen/coffee shop/restaurant.
Food Safety Level 2 certificate is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide a customer-focused service.
2. Organise, deliver, develop, and improve the catering service throughout the Trust.
3. Ensure efficient management of all catering services.
4. Ensure compliance with all legislation relating to risk management and security.
5. Ensure compliance with all legislation relating to food safety management.
6. Basic preparation of food items, service to patients, and other meals and functions.
7. Assist with cooking and regeneration of food as appropriate.
8. Cleaning of structures, equipment, and meal service components as specified in work instructions.
9. Store keeping, including checking deliveries, storage, and stock rotation.
10. At times, operate without the direct guidance of a team leader.
11. Ensure a secure working environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
12. Promote and maintain point of sale, e.g., counter and vending machines.
13. Undertake all aspects of the cash handling process.
