Hours/Shift Monday to Friday Days Location Thetford Company Details A global automotive supply company providing hardware and engineering services to OEMs around the world. Position Details Scope of Position: Monitoring of supplier, customer, and internal quality issues. Involvement in all IATF process and audits Authority to take photographs and video within Multimatic. Usage of photos is restricted to internal use only and/or sending externally as part of Job-related correspondence. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the supplier database. • Monitor and tracking supplier performance. • Regular supplier reviews include on-site audits where applicable. • Adding and vetting all new potential/new suppliers including onsite visits where required • Update supplier on their suppler quality score • Manage the DMN system, recording and following all DMN’s through to completion with either the supplier, customer, or internal assigned team. • Liaise with process engineer to keep all production process up to date. • Arrange and track all internal process audits. • Monitor and track staff training keeping al documentation up to date. • Assist in maintaining the MNVA quality management systems to IATF standards, including regular systems and process reviews. • Prepare for and attend customer and annual systems audits. • Share and promote the objectives contained in the “Presidents Message” with all staff. • Track progress towards meeting “Presidents Message” goals within the department • Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts • Support and encourage KAIZEN and Gear activities. • Train, coach and assist department personnel in the development of continuous improvement ideas and solicit GEAR activities from staff to meet corporate goals. • Conduct employee performance reviews for department personnel minimum annually. • Submits training needs to HR as determined from departmental needs and employee evaluations. • Maintain all training records. • Follow all general procedures where applicable as indicated in the GENERAL PROCEDURES section of the level II Procedure manual. • Follow all DEPARTMENTAL GENERAL PROCEDURES as well as procedures for this position as indicated in the level II Procedure manual. • Ensure that all personnel are working in a safe and efficient manner. • Perform other duties as required. Basic Requirements: • Completion of an appropriate blend of education and/or experience equalling a minimum of five years in the automotive industry • Experience in and IATF or TS quality systems. • VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 auditor qualifications an advantage. • PSCR qualifications an advantage. • Capable of organising and managing priorities, business equipment and problem-solving techniques. • Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural organisation and provide direction and leadership. • Must possess good social and interpersonal communication skills. • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft business products. • Must understand manufacturing and logistics processes. • Ability to read, write and speak English. • German speaker an advantage. • Full driving license. • Have a passport and be willing to travel as required.
