Job role - Event Assistant
This role involves sourcing suitable venues, researching, writing and operating profitable projects, offering support and focusing on delivering the highest level of event at all times. The most important factor is having the right attitude, willingness to learn and desire to build a successful career within the event industry.
Skills for the ideal candidate:
* Previous venue finding and events industry experience preferred but not essential
* Ensure that duties are carried out in the most professional manner
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Have the ability to self-manage workload and time effectively
* Able to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
* Have a passion and drive for the industry with an enthusiastic attitude
* Happy and confident to liaise on the phone and face-to-face with both suppliers and clients
* Have acute attention to detail
* Have a creative flare
* Ensure any issues that should be escalated are communicated to the appropriate person
* Be customer-focused whilst considering business implications to Chew Events
* Abide by company standards in terms of behaviour and dress
