We are looking for an appointments clerk, preferably with some experience, to become a reliable and valuable member of our team based in either Newport or Cardiff. There will be progression opportunities for the right person, so the role would be ideal for a newly qualified law graduate looking for an introduction to working within a legal environment.
This is a busy but rewarding full-time role.
Duties
* Booking and confirming client appointments
* Booking and confirming interpreters
* Rescheduling of appointments
* Other general administration duties if and when required, i.e., photocopying, answering incoming calls, and dealing with both incoming and outgoing post.
* Assisting Fee Earners and the Practice Manager when and where required.
On-the-job training will be provided. Please note that this could be in either of our offices in Cardiff or Newport, so the ability to travel to either would be an advantage.
Desirable Personal Qualities
* Computer literate in MS Outlook and Office
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Able to work on your own initiative and within a team
* A good telephone manner is essential.
* Excellent organisation skills
Qualifications Required
* 2 GCSE at C or equivalent
* English at C or equivalent
* Maths at C or equivalent
