Benefits: Bike-to-Work Scheme - Company Pension - Employee Assistance Program - On-Site Parking Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's leading fit-out company, specialising in commercial, retail, hospitality, and leisure projects. The role involves managing both pre and post-contract cost functions, preparing schedules, valuations, and financial reports, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects across Ireland and the UK. Key Responsibilities: Analyse drawings and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project drawings. Manage all quantity surveying duties, including measurements, valuations, and agreement of work sections. Monitor costs, manage variances, and handle cost recovery with vendors and subcontractors. Create detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and expenditure statements. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems for effective financial tracking. Consult with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure cost alignment and efficient project delivery. Participate in site/client meetings across Ireland and the UK when required. Promote and contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and outcomes. Person Specification: Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying (Essential) MRICS qualification (Advantageous) Manual handling certification (Preferred) Experience: Minimum 5 years in the fit-out sector. Strong experience in pre- and post-contract cost management and procurement. Knowledge of the Irish and UK markets.
