Do you speak fluent Welsh and have a passion for helping children thrive? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behavioural Mentor to join our team, supporting pupils with learning and behavioural difficulties in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
About the Role:
As a Behavioural Mentor, you’ll support pupils in mainstream classrooms and resource bases, fostering their academic and emotional development. Your role will include:
1. Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
2. Supporting pupils to manage emotions and behaviour effectively.
3. Creating a safe and encouraging environment for learning and growth.
4. Delivering tailored one-on-one and small-group interventions.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with empathy and understanding.
2. An engaging and positive communication style.
3. Passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve success.
Requirements:
1. Fluent Welsh speaker.
2. Right to work in the UK.
3. Two professional references.
4. Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this).
5. EWC registration (support provided).
