Job summary Frimley Health Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced, and strong operational leader who will manage the Trust's Emergency and Acute Medicine Directorate to deliver exceptional patient focused care. Accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and responsible to the specific Chiefs of Service, the Associate Director will provide effective leadership and is a key member of the Trust's senior management team. Utilising exceptional leadership skills, the successful applicant will work alongside two Departmental Triumvirates (Emergency Services and Acute Medicine) as well as Heads of Nursing in these areas, Clinical Leads and Operational Managers to ensure the Trusts and the Directorate's operational and strategic objectives are met and that services run safely, effectively and efficiently. Main duties of the job The Associate Director is responsible for the delivery of financial, quality, performance, productivity and workforce targets, including national targets and objectives set as part of Trust business planning process. The successful candidate will be expected to oversee the financial control of a sizeable budget, including pay, non-pay and income.
