Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Platform Governance Analyst to champion the responsible use of our newly developed data platform. In this role, you will oversee the governance of our self-service environments (Labs) and collaborate closely with Lab owners to understand their needs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring regular review and adoption of platform features, monitoring usage trends, and promoting best practices for responsible usage. As a key member of the Data team, you will contribute to empowering self-service capabilities across the organisation.
What you'll do
* Drive Innovation: Support with the development and delivery of our Lab proposition to elevate Practitioner Self-Service, creating tailored solutions to tackle common challenges and risks while fostering innovation and autonomy.
* Collaborate and Create: Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and challenges, shaping the platform's offering with industry best practices.
* Engage and Inspire: Host regular surgery sessions to share best practices, gather valuable user feedback, and continuously improve the platform's usability and effectiveness.
* Innovate with Impact: Evaluate new platform features and work with Architecture, Adoption and Enterprise Analytics teams to introduce them to relevant communities, ensuring they meet real-world needs.
* Automate and Streamline: Partner with technical teams to automate the creation of Lab resources, managing them cost-effectively and efficiently to drive operational excellence.
* Generate Insights: Utilise audit datasets to extract actionable insights, support governance activities, and drive informed decisions that enhance the platform's impact.
* Support and Audit: Assist with audit activities for the platform to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Who you are
* 2+ years of experience in IT, data management, governance, and analytics.
* Experience with Power BI, including the development of reports and dashboards.
* Experience using data platforms such as Synapse and Databricks.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
