Key Responsibilities:
* Stock Management: Accurately manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and organizing goods.
* Supplier Coordination: Regularly chase suppliers for stock updates, deliveries, and resolving any discrepancies.
* Order Fulfilment: Pick and pack orders according to the specifications and requirements.
* Quality Control: Ensure that all goods are in optimal condition before storage or dispatch.
* Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication across all departments, including suppliers, purchasing, and logistics.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and supplier communications.
* Safety: Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in stock management or warehouse operations.
* Strong ability to chase and coordinate with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries.
* Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic knowledge of warehouse management software or systems (preferred but not required).
* Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move items safely.
Salary:
* up to £28,884.00 per year
