An opportunity has arisen for a Business Rates and Sundry Accounts Officer to work within our Revenues Service based at John Muir House, Haddington as temporary cover for an internal secondment.
Our Business Rates & Sundry Accounts Team is responsible for managing and updating customer accounts, working in partnership with internal Council Services and external organisations, and collecting Business Rates and Sundry Accounts charges.
The successful candidate must be educated to a minimum HNC level, or equivalent level of knowledge or working experience, and must demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, and organisation.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
HNC/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of knowledge e.g. IRRV, Accountancy and/or relevant working experience.
Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
