Job description
An innovative and confident Primary School Teacher is required to fill a teaching position in an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school in Blackburn. The position is to begin in April 2024 and will continue for the remainder of this academic year, with the possibility of a permanent contract with the school in September. This is a full-time class teacher position in EYFS and experience of teaching in Reception is essential. You will need to have a clear understanding of the Early Years curriculum, and of the expectations and assessment requirements for this key stage.

The successful applicant must be:
5. Experienced with teaching in EYFS
6. Confident with assessment in EYFS
7. A pro-active, reflective and imaginative practitioner
8. Available from April 2024
The successful Early Years Teacher will have the following:
9. Qualified Teacher Status, with Primary specialism
10. A degree and PGCE, or equivalent
11. UK classroom experience
12. Eligibility to work in the UK
13. References that cover the last 2 full years
14. Have a fully enhanced DBS on the online update service, or be prepared to process a new one at a cost of £
