BANK - Medical & Dental staffing consultant 8A
This is a stand-alone role and the postholder will be providing specialist and expert advice and support to the organisation around Medical & Dental staffing issues and enquiries, utilising their significant experience and specialist knowledge of M&D staffing. They will be an escalation point for high-risk matters in respect of medical staffing issues.
They will work with the Chief Medical Officer on the formulation of the Medical & Dental strategy from the People Strategy and other organisational strategies. They must be able to support the achievement of Medical & Dental goals, both transactional and transformational, by setting and delivering key results.
The postholder will be required to lead on specific, organisation-wide projects and initiatives as agreed.

Qualifications
* Masters or equivalent qualification in HR or equivalent experience in HR environment
Training
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Employment Law

* Analytical skills and able to interpret complex information
* Ability to role model and demonstrate leadership skills, including ability to set direction within organisational context
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively on a range of complex/highly complex issues
* Excellent presentation skills; able to communicate contentious, sensitive and highly complex information to large groups
* Ability to work with senior managers and staff in a busy and changing environment to agree appropriate, effective and pragmatic solutions to service needs
Knowledge & Experience
* Highly specialist knowledge of medical HR and Medical & Dental terms and conditions of service
* Knowledge of employment law
* Knowledge of compliance frameworks
* Appropriate levels of specialist HR knowledge that would allow them to manage or coach managers
* Experience of effective recruitment techniques
* Understanding of the key issues around temporary staffing and the contingent workforce
* Experience of providing expert advice to senior medical staff / Directors
* Previous experience within healthcare, ideally in a community setting

£59,490 to £66,239 a year, paid as hourly rate, inclusive of HCAS.
