What You Will Do:
1. Collaborate closely with the software organisation to ensure the accurate application of Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs) to relevant software subsystems.
2. Serve as the primary contact for the software team, clarifying TSRs and engineering a Functional Safety (FuSa) compliant architecture.
3. Proactively identify gaps or roadblocks in the implementation of a FuSa compliant software, communicating these concerns to relevant stakeholders.
4. Lead and deliver Functional Safety activities in accordance with ISO26262 standards for automotive projects, covering both system and software levels.
5. Conduct safety analysis, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis).
6. Manage supplier relations with a focus on Functional Safety, including managing Development Interface Agreements (DIAs).
What You Will Bring:
1. Proven experience in Functional Safety (ISO26262) at both System and Software levels.
2. Expertise in safety analysis techniques such as FMEA and FTA.
3. Experience in managing supplier relationships with a focus on Functional Safety.
4. A track record of leading and delivering Functional Safety activities in line with ISO26262 for automotive projects.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location:
Gaydon, with flexible hybrid working options. Standard working hours are 8am - 5pm.
