Job overview
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse for 37.5 hours per week to cover a maternity leave for 12 months. The working hours would be Monday-Sunday day shifts and night shifts on internal rotation.
You will be based on Aspull ward at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. The ward is a 28 bedded unit based on the acute site.
Candidates will only be shortlisted if they have a valid NMC registration.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will be to:
* Manage a bay of patients pre and post operative.
* Create and implement care plans.
* Administer medication, dressings and wound care and communicate with the MDT.
