Job Description
Purpose
To be responsible for submitting and managing highway permits & notices covering England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland using the Aurora system, and to manage the workflow of permits/notices across the project to ensure all are completed within client given SLAs.
To provide support to the Streetworks & Permitting Manager, ULC project team and subcontractors.
Job Description
1. Prepare, submit and maintain streetworks permits/notices.
2. Co-ordinate all tasks in regards to permits and notices; open and close permits / notices, submit works start and stops, apply permit variations, answer modifications, request early starts where required, update interim and permanent registration, information’s, and defects.
3. Produce reports on all tasks when required
4. Assign permit conditions
5. Complete applications and notices within set SLA's.
6. Ensure all works being completed are compliant with NRSWA and deal with any issues/requests issued by relevant Local Authorities
7. Work with the Project Team to ensure the works are completed within the set time frames, all the relevant paperwork/photos are received from site and ensure that all notices/permits are opened/closed on time to prevent fines being issued by the Local Authorities.
8. Liaise with Local Authorities and Traffic Management Companies.
9. Prepare Traffic Management Applications
10. Manage, investigate, and reply to S74 and Fixed Penalty Notices
11. Provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external enquiries from both the Local Authorities and the Project Team
12. General support administration as requested.
13. Any other duties as assigned
