Job summary Senior CAMHS Practitioner working with Children and Young People with Complex Mental Health Needs, band 7 Redbridge CAMHS are recruiting to an exciting new post working with Children and Young people referred to CAMHS. We seek an experienced CAMHS practitioner, therapist or mental health nurse with a passion for improving the service we deliver. The successful applicant will join the established Redbridge team, to provide bespoke assessments and interventions within our emotional difficulties pathway. Supervision and development of therapeutic skills will be provided by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and there will be opportunities for joint work. The post holder will be a member of the CAMHS multi-disciplinary team and will attend and participate in MDT meetings. Main duties of the job The post holder will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health, education and social care professionals as we embed a trauma informed model of practice within the service. The post holder will be passionate about ensuring the child's voice is central to the work we do and work in partnership with foster families/carers and other agencies to achieve the outcomes desired by the child or young person.
