Day-to-day of the role: Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including Billing, AP/AR, Cost/Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances directly to the management. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Generate reports that identify results, trends, and financial forecasts on both an annual and monthly basis. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Streamline and enhance financial and accounting systems and operations. Manage cash flow, debt, and debt collection processes. Supervise and manage the accounts team of 3, ensuring high levels of performance. Oversee the audit process and liaise with external auditors and other external parties as necessary. Required Skills & Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience working within a manufacturing/engineering setting would be highly advantageous. Strong understanding of accounting software and administrative systems. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and numerical abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
