Job Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in both residential and commercial metal roofing markets.
2. Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
3. Set clear and achievable sales targets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
4. Monitor and adjust sales strategies based on market conditions and performance metrics.
5. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
6. Provide ongoing coaching and training to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales techniques.
7. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
8. Ensure that sales representatives are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to succeed.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including contractors, building owners, architects, and property managers.
2. Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
3. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional metal roofing services and products.
4. Review the CRM system, provide recommendations for following up on leads, and suggest alternative CRM software or systems.
3. Sales Process & Reporting:
1. Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
2. Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
3. Analyse sales data to identify areas of improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and deal status.
5. Work closely with marketing to ensure sales campaigns and promotional materials are aligned with the company’s objectives.
6. Collaborate with the operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
1. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging metal roofing technologies, and competitor offerings.
2. Conduct competitive analysis to position the company effectively in the market.
3. Evaluate customer feedback and adjust sales tactics to meet evolving needs.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required
* Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the construction or metal roofing industry.
* Strong understanding of metal roofing products, services, and installation processes.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse market data, trends, and customer feedback to drive business decisions.
* Excellent negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team success.
* Experience managing a sales team in the metal roofing or construction industry.
* Knowledge of local metal roofing regulations and safety standards.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (Preferred).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership, with at least 3-5 years in the metal roofing or construction industry.
