My client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team to lead the maintenance function on-site, providing reactive and proactive multi-skilled services across all operational equipment and facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a group of 7 fantastic engineers (electricians and mechanical fitters) and take them to the next level.
Bentham (LA2)
Salary DOE: £40,000 - £55,000, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Life Insurance 4x salary, pension scheme.
37.5 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-1.30pm)
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Planning scheduled maintenance programmes.
2. Minimising downtime in production.
3. Ensuring HSE requirements are met.
4. Implementing and managing continuous improvements by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes.
5. Developing existing PM schedules to avoid production downtime, monitoring performance against targets, and reporting to the Factory Manager.
6. Managing plant and equipment installations.
7. Managing maintenance logging systems and maintaining agreed KPIs.
8. Providing technical support to the team.
9. Managing and motivating the team to meet agreed objectives and deliver best practice results.
10. Reporting on targets and identifying any actions required.
11. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
12. Providing input for maintenance budgets as agreed with the Factory Manager.
13. Liaising with other departments, suppliers, and service providers.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
1. Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or HND, NVQ level 5.
2. Extensive plant experience within man management experience.
3. Completed full apprenticeships with mechanical/electrical disciplines.
4. Understanding of IOSH/NEBOSH, ISO 14001.
5. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Excel).
6. Experience in managing cost centre responsibilities for maintenance.
