Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and independent Part-Time Payroll Specialist to manage all aspects of our payroll processes. This role offers flexible working hours and a hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems and legislation, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process the company’s payroll every pay period.
2. Maintain the payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
3. Compute employee take-home pay based on pensions, benefits, taxes, unpaid time off; holiday, sick leave and maternity/paternity leave payments.
4. Prepare and process monthly payroll with electronic payslips (including submission of RTI, HMRC Year End reporting, P11Ds, P60s, P45s for employees, and BACS payments for employees and third parties).
5. Process PAYE deductions and send payroll information to HM Revenue & Customs.
6. Generate reports such as Gross to Net; Control Total; P32.
