To provide laboratory scientific services subject matter expertise. Facility Management services are delivered by multiple GSK Enterprise wide third party contractors. To ensure the IBM and IA elements of the Internal control framework and appropriate programmes are in place and delivered to meet compliance expectations of our QMS. To ensure quality governance framework within facilities management model is in place and in use across the GSC network including sites, central team and partners. To ensure our activities consider risk up front and throughout as activities change and risks are assessed to enable the team to prioritise and proportionately manage risk, considering the likelihood and impact. Responsible for FM RMCB. To work with the FM central team to establish and maintain strategic relationships across GSC Sites in order to identify and exploit synergies to drive standardisation, quality improvements and regulatory compliance. Work with relevant stakeholders globally to ensure compliance requirements are met by our Service Partners, identifying, escalating and managing gaps and opportunities as appropriate. Why you? Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Certified level 2 auditor desirable or working towards completion. Proven technical knowledge of quality, laboratory services, facility and utility operations, and/or projects in a GMP manufacturing and laboratory environment. Highly developed rational persuasion skill set required as job holder will have ‘influence’ but no direct control over service delivery. Critical thinking and flexibility in order to operate both strategically and tactically. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work across the organisation and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers. Broad knowledge and experience to understand the links and identification / management of risks between business, Technical, Operational and Support aspects of program delivery. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Degree or equivalent in engineering, quality or relevant technical discipline with membership of relevant professional body. Appreciation and working knowledge of GSK quality systems. Excellent planning and organisational skills; Getting things done. Experience managing quality and compliance requirements of a service provider providing GxP services. GPS and Lean Manufacturing experience.
