Position: Teaching Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team, with a primary focus on supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and general classroom assistance. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support for Reception students, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Assist in delivering personalized learning activities to address the unique needs of each child.
- Support classroom management, including resource preparation and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence among young learners.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with early years or primary-aged children, preferably in an ALN support role.
- Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff.
