The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Lead the GTM strategy for Amazon Q Developer aligned to a sales vertical.
2. Create sales plays, leverage partners, and build new initiatives that drive results for our customers.
3. Provide critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap.
4. Work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem supporting our customers’ goals.
5. Play a critical role as the “first in” teams to build markets for new services, domains, or solutions.
6. Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.
7. Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
8. Demonstrate thought leadership and represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
* Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
* Considerable relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience with some experience in software development tooling as a practitioner and/or GTM leader.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO) and Line of Business Leaders.
