Position: Domestic Operations Manager
Christ’s Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a newly created role of Domestic Operations Manager. Our support services sit at the heart of Christ’s Hospital and are vital to its success. The Domestic Operations Manager will oversee the schools’ domestic support functions of Cleaning and Portering, supported by three Team Leaders.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a domestic services team of approximately 50 employees.
2. Train, direct, monitor, and motivate the team to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
3. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and Safeguarding requirements.
4. Handle employee relations matters including absence, performance, conduct, capability, and appraisal.
The role is full time at 40 hours per week, over 52 weeks of the year, with the requirement for weekend working.
