Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide tailored support in English and/or Mathematics to students of varying abilities. About the Role: Deliver engaging and structured lessons in Functional Skills English and/or Mathematics. Support students in improving their literacy and numeracy skills, ensuring progress towards their qualifications. Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and abilities. Provide constructive feedback and track student progress. Flexible working hours to suit your availability. Requirements: Experience in teaching or tutoring Functional Skills in English and/or Mathematics. A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, PTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners effectively. A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach to teaching. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
