Take the next step in your career with a role that offers real impact and autonomy \n\nBenefits:\n\nSalary: £45,000 per year\nFlexible Working: 34-hours per week\nMonday to Thursday\n4-Day working week!\nHybrid working\nCompany pension scheme\nLocation: Birmingham\nFree onsite parking Role and Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare monthly management accounts for multiple UK group companies\nOverseeing monthly payroll for 60+ employees, including pension administration\nManaging an Accounts Administrator, overseeing sales and purchase ledger activities and supplier payment runs\nDelivering regular financial reporting, including KPIs, cash flow management, and business analytics\nConducting bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad hoc financial reporting\nSubmitting quarterly VAT returns and assisting in annual budget preparation and financial forecasting\nImplementing effective cash flow management and reporting\nEstablishing and maintaining accounting controls, systems, and processes\nAssisting with stock control, customs queries, and process improvements\nExamining financial reports to ensure accurate record-keeping\nLeading annual audit preparations and producing statutory accounts in collaboration with external accountants\nPreparing R&D tax claims\nActing as the main point of contact for banking and financial compliance matters\nCollaborating with the management team to drive efficiencies and financial improvements Required Skills and Experience:\n\nFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)\nMinimum of 5 years' experience in financial operations.\nStrong understanding of core accounting processes, data analysis, and forecasting methods\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nStrong organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence\nAdvanced Excel proficiency\nExperience within a manufacturing/industrial environment\nExperienced user of Sage or similar If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply through the advert! \n\n#BIRM24
