Teaching Personnel is looking for a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school located in the S5 area of Sheffield. The Role As an HLTA, you will: Lead small group sessions and whole-class teaching in the absence of the teacher. Support the planning and delivery of lessons in collaboration with teaching staff. Assist in developing individualized support plans for students with specific needs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Provide mentoring and guidance to Teaching Assistants within the classroom. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking candidates who: Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent. Have experience working in a classroom setting, particularly in primary or secondary education. Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. Are confident in managing classroom behavior effectively. Are committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
