Role Overview:
We have an incredible opportunity for you to join our team at an exciting time in our growth. We're seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth across our B2B channels in the UK and Internationally. The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship builder with proven B2B sales experience and established industry connections, with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets. You'll manage existing partnerships while proactively identifying and generating new leads through LinkedIn, digital campaigns, and innovative outreach strategies. Success will come through converting these opportunities via engaging product demonstrations, site visits, and expert client education. This influential role requires someone who combines strategic thinking with exceptional people skills, and who will thrive on regular UK travel (potentially international travel required) to build our brand presence. As a key player in our growth story, you'll help shape company direction while serving as a passionate ambassador for our innovative eco-conscious cleaning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and grow existing wholesale, trade, and international accounts
2. Research, identify and convert new business opportunities across all channels
3. Conduct compelling product demonstrations and site visits
4. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision makers
5. Meet or exceed revenue targets across all channels
6. Develop and implement strategies for entering target markets
7. Represent Monty Miracle at trade shows and industry events
8. Lead the development and rollout of FSDUs and point-of-sale displays across retail partners to maximize brand visibility and sales.
Account Management:
1. Serve as the main point of contact for major accounts
2. Provide product training and education to clients
3. Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities
4. Regular reporting on pipeline progress and forecasting
5. Maintain detailed records of all client interactions in CRM
Product & Market Expertise:
1. Develop deep product knowledge and stay updated on new developments
2. Gather and share customer feedback to help inform product development
3. Contribute in the creation of case studies and document product success stories
4. Contribute to marketing materials and sales collateral development
Required Experience & Skills:
1. Minimum 5 years proven B2B sales experience, preferably in garden retail or cleaning products
2. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing UK and International accounts
3. Established relationships with relevant retailers and distributors
4. Outstanding presentation, demonstration and negotiation skills with commercial acumen
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across various platforms (phone, email, LinkedIn, in-person)
6. Full UK driving license with willingness to travel regularly
