SF Recruitment is working with a fantastic educational organisation based in the north Birmingham area. They are looking to onboard a Finance Manager, who will be the main point of contact for Head Teachers and the senior Finance team to provide financial monitoring, budgets, and forecasting.
Key tasks:
1. Prepare monthly management accounts/budget/forecast monitoring reports for specified schools.
2. Carry out/assist in month and year-end procedures for specified schools including, but not limited to, Purchase Order reconciliation and cleardown, prepayments and accruals, income tracking, and monthly outturn calculations.
3. Lead monthly meetings with Head Teachers, HR, and other involved parties to discuss budget management and forecasting.
4. Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts as required.
5. Carry out supplier checks and other back-office checks as required.
6. Keep abreast of current educational developments which may have implications for the Trust.
7. Management and development of one member of staff.
