Job Role:
1. Providing one-to-one and small group support to Key Stage 3/4 students with SEND
2. Assisting the teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
3. Supporting students with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
4. Adapting learning materials and activities to ensure accessibility for all students
5. Helping to create a positive and structured learning environment
6. Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to promote student progress
Requirements:
1. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
2. Experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a special school setting
3. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with complex needs
4. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
5. A commitment to inclusion and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
