Your tasks
Krones UK is seeking to expand its Technical Sales team with a Technical Sales Project Manager – Process Technology. This customer-focused role involves supporting all process technology aspects throughout project stages—from quotation to commissioning and after-sales support—collaborating with sales, procurement, and central teams in breweries and processing.
The role demands a strong technical background, self-sufficiency, and flexibility. Key responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing enquiry documentation and aligning specifications with customers
2. Driving process and product technology innovation within the UK
3. Defining technical data and performance parameters for products during offer and order stages
4. Making commercial decisions in coordination with sales management and Krones AG
5. Supporting tender processes and cross-checking third-party equipment documentation
6. Serving as the technical contact for internal teams, suppliers, and customers regarding process technology
7. Providing customer support for existing plant optimization and recipes
8. Managing project revenues, costs, and contract profitability
9. Applying project management skills to process technology projects
10. Possessing knowledge of packaging equipment (advantageous)
11. Assisting the service team with commissioning activities
12. Leading and developing the process technology team, sharing industry knowledge
13. Traveling to Krones AG in Germany and other subsidiaries for training, tests, and technical discussions
Your profile
* Experience in the beverage, food, or related industries (preferable)
* Background in industrial processing machinery sales
* Engineering or technical degree, or equivalent experience
* Project management experience in high-pressure environments (advantageous)
* Strong commercial acumen and budget control skills
* Understanding contractual requirements, with MF1 familiarity as an advantage
* Ability to represent Krones effectively at senior customer levels
* Proficiency in MS Office and quick learner of new systems
* Knowledge of SAP ERP and CRM systems (advantageous)
* Ability to work independently and take full project responsibility, while collaborating within a team
