YOUR ROLE:
The Data and Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration and optimisation of various IT systems, including Stock Management and EPOS, as well as overseeing several operational tasks that ensure systems and data are maintained in line with company policies. The role reports directly into the Head of Finance and will be key in driving system efficiencies, process improvements, and ensuring the smooth integration of systems across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to support the business by optimising our data and systems to enable smarter, more strategic decision-making, vital for continued sustainable growth.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL:
* Take overall responsibility for the administration, optimisation, and maintenance of the purchasing systems including EPOS and stock across the organisation.
* Support the operations teams in maintaining accurate and up-to-date price lists, supplier details, recipes, and stock items within our stock systems.
* Administer the backend of the EPOS system, ensuring that all menus, pricing, promotions, and configurations are correctly set up and maintained.
* Act as the internal expert on all data and purchasing systems, providing guidance and support to teams across the business.
* Manage IT support requests related to EPOS, stock systems, and other operational tools, working with external providers and internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Work closely with kitchen & bar teams to ensure that new products, menu changes, and supplier information are correctly reflected in the systems.
* Maintain daily administrative security procedures that are consistent with PCI-DSS; including maintaining Software asset register, administering user authentication, ensuring that updates are implemented promptly and consistently.
* Helping operations teams streamline workflows and maintain accurate data across all platforms.
* Take responsibility for administering team members’ access levels to systems, ensuring that each user has the appropriate permissions based on their role and responsibilities.
Skills & Attributes Needed:
* Proven experience in data analysis, system administration, and IT support (ideally in hospitality or retail).
* Strong proficiency with EPOS, stock systems, ideally Procure Wizard.
* Experience in managing system backends, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving operational efficiency.
* Ability to analyse data, track cost prices, supplier details, stock levels, and pricing updates.
* Experience in user access administration, ensuring security and compliance.
* Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
* Excellent communication and ability to train and support operational teams.
* Experience managing system providers, IT support, and software vendors.
* Passionate about Food & Drink!
* Relevant Microsoft, Cisco, Google or Comptia certifications in systems administration or cyber security.
