An opportunity has arisen to join Quality, Safety & Improvement Directorate of the NHS Wales Executive as a Senior Business Support Officer to provide comprehensive business admin support to the team. This opportunity is open to those who have experience in an administrative role and have the key skills required.
Main duties of the job
You will be joining the dynamic and ambitious learning disability team within Improvement Cymru, a mixed group of learning disability and quality improvement specialists. The team are leading on specific projects, as part of the Welsh Government's Learning Disability Strategic Action Plan and Delivery 2022 to 2026.
Building upon the successful programme to date, the team has a renewed remit for the next 12 months with an ambitious programme of work aimed at accelerating improvements in health outcomes for people with a learning disability.
Working as a Senior Business Support Officer, the post holder will join a pool of support staff providing comprehensive, confidential administrative, clerical and business support to the Quality, Safety and Improvement Team. They will be required to communicate and liaise with directorates, divisions and stakeholders and produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance with policies.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* The post holder will require RSA III/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of experience, together with a high level of numeracy, written and spoken English.
* Advanced ECDL.
Experience
* Demonstrable experience in an administrative role.
* Previous experience of dealing with customers, clients and/or members of the public.
* Experience of communicating at all levels.
* Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data and appropriate maintenance and storage of records.
* Working experience of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Budget monitoring.

* Working in an NHS environment.
* Experience of interacting/communicating with a vulnerable population, i.e. people with a learning disability.
* Previous experience of working with financial systems and/or purchasing of goods or equipment.
