We are seeking a talented Product Leader to join our Operations team in Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB).
The MMB UK Product Owner will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy and development of the product, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the development team delivers value to the business. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, understanding customer needs, and translating them into actionable tasks for the development team.

Based in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Chichester this is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
* Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and the development team; and ensuring the Product continues to meet the vision, objectives and needs of the business.
* Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business goals and customer needs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and the development team, to gather requirements and feedback.
* Enhance the Product: Own new features, understand their business value, work with the Systems Analyst (SA) to capture functional and performance requirements and provide visibility into the value within the product.
* Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings to help the team understand the priorities and objectives for each sprint.
* Review and Feedback: Lead or participate in regular showcases of feature enhancements to business stakeholders with support from the development team.
* Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
* Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and make data-driven decisions.
* Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback and iterating on product features and processes.
* User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Define acceptance criteria for features and manage user acceptance testing to ensure the product meets quality standards.
What you need to have:
* Experience in a Product Owner role, working as part of an agile team.
* Experience in supporting development or adoption of consumer systems and platforms.
* Be an effective communicator for both technical and business-orientated audiences, service as product ambassador internally or externally, sharing knowledge and updates.
* The curiosity and enthusiasm to create simple, elegant solutions and the ability and desire to develop close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What makes you stand out:
* Excellent Microsoft Office products knowledge, including Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience with product and workflow management tools (e.g., Aha, ADO, Confluence).
* In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and working knowledge of Agile Framework.
* Experience of working within the Insurance Industry.
* Ability to prioritise features and tasks based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
