HR Business Partner

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our People team based in the Home Counties. This position is a national role and will require regular travel.
This role will act as a strategic partner to leadership teams, providing guidance on HR best practices to support the business's goals. You will drive initiatives in areas such as employee engagement, talent management, organisational development, and compliance. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leadership, delivering HR solutions that align with business goals.
* Partner with business leaders to understand their operational challenges and provide tailored HR strategies.
* Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
* Drive Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace.
* Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of HR programs and services
* Provide guidance and input on organisation design including business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
* Support performance review process, career development planning, performance, and management
* Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
* Ensure alignment with UK employment laws and company policies.
* Promote a positive workplace culture that fosters inclusion and employee engagement.
* Identify and address training and development needs across teams in collaboration with the L&D Manager.
* Communicate effectively to engage employees and ensure smooth transitions during periods of change.
* Optimise the organisation’s HR systems, tools, and processes.
* Lead employee engagement initiatives and survey action plans.
Skills & Experience:
We are looking for an HR professional with a demonstrable track record of experience across a broad HR remit.
We require:
* Proven HR generalist experience.
* Previous experience of working in a comparable sector.
* Strong knowledge of HR legal requirements and UK employment legislation including TUPE, redundancies and employee relations.
* Strong leadership, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
* A proven commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
* CIPD Level 5 qualified essential, Level 7 is desirable.
* Holds a valid full UK Driving Licence.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
