With a portfolio comprising of 27 million sq ft of industrial units and delivery facilities for big box developments utilized for national distribution, production or manufacturing, and a customer base of 2,000 businesses in cities across the country, this is an exciting opportunity for a professional experienced in utilities operations management within real estate or infrastructure, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement operational frameworks and teams from scratch.
The Interim Utilities Operations Director will be responsible for leading and creating a new utilities operations function, designing and implementing a cutting-edge innovative operating model, and driving the adoption of technology-led solutions.
The role will be instrumental in building a robust foundation for utilities management, ensuring cost control and efficiency, maximization of returns from utilities recharging including solar, and exceptional service delivery across the real estate portfolio.
The Utilities Target Operating Model (TOM) will encompass ESG and solar requirements, providing a strategic framework for utility management. It will include documented processes, defining responsibilities and handoffs, along with a data and technology solution to support the TOM and its outputs. A phased budget, a business case outlining ROI and intangible benefits, and a transition plan for implementation, including the technology solution, will also be developed.
