ESmart Networks are currently recruiting Electrician Mates to assist and support our existing Commercial Electricians. Together, you will be responsible for the success of electrical connections across a range of commercial projects including EV Charging Infrastructure, Battery Storage, and Renewable Energy Installations. As an Electrician's Mate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced electricians in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the installation of EV chargers ranging from 7kW to 350kW. Supporting the installation of electrical distribution equipment and substation packages. Assisting the lead electrician in planning and coordinating projects. Aiding in troubleshooting 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems. Ensuring that materials for projects are organized and van stock is kept up to date. Utilizing IT systems to complete daily paperwork and maintain communication with the office. Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all statutory and legal requirements. Reporting all accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances to our health and safety department. Working according to Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and ensuring all paperwork is returned to our delivery department promptly. The Person To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes: Full and clean UK driving license. ECS card holder, any level is acceptable. Emergency First Aid at Work certification is desirable but not essential. Experience in the construction industry is desirable. Comfortable working in various outdoor environments. Basic understanding of electrical systems is desirable. Ability to utilize IT systems, access documents, and navigate drawings. Strong understanding of health and safety at work. Ability to work under pressure as part of a focused team. Proactive and hands-on approach, eager to take initiative.
