How will you contribute to Radley?
Following the direction of the Creative Design Manager, the Midweight Graphic Designer will assist on all aspects of the graphic design process from concept to completion. You will support with the development and production of digital and print based graphics for Radley across UK, International, and third-party markets. Supporting brand activations, promotions and campaign launches. You must strive for excellence in all aspects of your role and will be responsible for ensuring all creative produced is on-brand, on budget and on time. You will also be mentored by the Senior Graphic Designer, encouraging growth and development in your role.
You will contribute to the Marketing department strategy, which will in turn help deliver the overall business strategy. You are an ambassador for our brand and your role is to uphold the Radley image at all times.
Role and Responsibilities
Digital
1. To support the Senior Graphic Designer in developing and implementing visually compelling assets for use across our UK, International and Wholesale websites.
2. Working closely with the Brand Content team, Ecomm team and Social Media team to deliver engaging brand and promotional content for emails, affiliates and social media channels.
3. To create inspirational designs with the understanding of how assets will be viewed on multiple devices.
4. Ensuring all digital creative produced is on-brand, accessible, useable and meets best practice standards.
5. To ensure online design concepts are being implemented correctly and in a timely manner accommodating E-Commerce work schedules.
6. Act with integrity, constructively challenge the capabilities and effectiveness of all digital design content.
7. Conduct continual analysis of competitor activity across digital marketing channels, by assessing key market trends and keeping up to date with digital design developments.
8. To encourage the development of digital understanding within Creative Services.
Print
1. Together with VM and Channel Marketing, you will help produce a variety of media that encompasses the seasonal brand campaign across full price and outlet stores, including window visuals, in-store graphics and POS.
2. Ensure the consistency of the seasonal and generic campaigns are translated across National, International and Wholesale accounts.
3. Support VM with showroom seasonal changes by producing seasonal relevant designs for Large Format Graphics and look books.
4. Partner with the Senior Graphic Designer to develop concepts and produce artwork for seasonal trade catalogues, PR look books and direct mails.
5. Keep up to date with print techniques and broaden pool of suppliers to ensure cost efficiencies and excellent capabilities.
Creative development
1. Creative idea generation, exposure to the art direction of campaign shoots, concept presentation, art working and print production.
Skills
1. Excellent Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects skills are essential
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office
3. Knowledge of Premier Pro is a bonus
4. Detail orientated, self-motivated and organised, with great attention to detail
5. Adaptable and able to work to various demands and deadlines
6. Positive and approachable attitude to deliver a great internal customer experience
7. A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent layout skills and a keen eye for detail
8. Experienced in print production and an understanding of digital design requirements
9. Basic retouching skills are desired
10. An ability to confidently present ideas to various members of the business
11. Excellent communication and influencing skills
12. Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromise on quality
Experience
1. BA (Hons) Graphic Design qualification
2. Proven professional graphic design experience
