We have an exciting opportunity for a brand new Compliance Manager, acting as a first line compliance expert to our HUB business.
As the Compliance Manager, you will provide support to the design, development, and oversight of HUB’s proposition (both advised and non-advised), ensuring that risks are understood and managed, whilst liaising with Group’s risk and compliance team on second line oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the HUB Group in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in relation to its business (including partners).
2. Take the lead on the development and ongoing management of regulatory compliance matters in relation to our business, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
3. Establish and maintain an excellent knowledge of all key Customer Journeys.
4. Collaborate with the second line risk and compliance teams.
5. Liaise with all levels of HUB Management to ensure that any risks are understood and where appropriate, escalated to the Risk Owner.
6. Provide oversight of activity carried out by Compliance Monitoring and Group Internal Audit, and actions arising from these reviews.
7. Make a significant contribution to the development and maintenance of a robust conduct risk and customer-focused culture within HUB.
Skills and Experience:
1. Experience in a relevant financial services role is essential.
2. Strong knowledge and experience of Financial Conduct Authority regulations and compliance framework.
3. Experience in successfully managing relationships with customer-oriented firms.
4. Experience of the conduct and customer risk regime.
5. Good communication skills both internally and externally.
6. Ability to implement robust processes and procedures to satisfy regulatory requirements.
7. Ability to manage complex relationships with senior management.
8. Ability to balance, prioritise, and deliver against many different tasks.
