Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a positive impact in primary education? Our schools in Harlow are seeking a dynamic and versatile HLTA to join our team from September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA to support our teachers and inspire our students in their learning journey.
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be an integral part of our educational team, providing high-quality support to both students and teachers. Your role will involve working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, supporting individual and group learning, and helping to create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering planned lessons and supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher.
* Supporting the educational and social development of students across all key stages.
* Assisting with the preparation and implementation of lesson plans.
* Providing targeted support to students with additional needs.
* Engaging with parents and carers to support student progress.
* Contributing to the assessment and tracking of student achievement.
Requirements:
* A recognized HLTA qualification or equivalent.
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
* A strong commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
