Our client is a leading fire and security equipment manufacturer, with a reputation for staff retention and a second:to:none training and progression plan for each annd every employee. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a technical support engineer. This role is ideal for fire and secuirty engineers who are looking to come off the tools and apply their knowledge to a new role.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Assist customers with their queries over the phone or via email
* Problem solve technical issues with fire and security products
* Occasionally attend customer site to resolve issues
* Train staff and customer on products
* Deliver technical training courses on site in Luton or virtuually
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
The idea candidate is a Fire and Security Engineer who is know looking their skills, knowledge and experience to a customer/training role
* Have experience installing, servicing and repairing fire and security equipment
* Have experience dealing with customers in a polite and friendly manner
* Have experience offering support with technical issues
* Have experience in training other on fire and security products
