Street Services is seeking a Business Support Officer (Finance) to join its busy Business Support Team.
Street Services has 446 members of staff, and the Business Support Team is responsible for providing a wide range of functions that assist delivery of statutory frontline waste collection and street cleansing services.
Under the supervision of the Senior Business Support Officer (Finance, Operations and Traded Services), the successful candidate will:
1. Be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of business waste customers.
2. Ensure that service level agreements are up to date and in place where traded services are provided.
3. Monitor income payments against service level agreements to ensure payment is received and assist customers with payment schedules where necessary.
4. Monitor debt recovery.
5. Support inquiries from new business waste customers.
You will have exceptional IT and communication skills with excellent customer care. You will also be a good team player who is flexible and willing to adapt to the changing needs of the service.
