Located in two Victorian townhouses in Gravesend, Smart Start Nursery School is a wonderful start to a child’s learning story.
We are looking for passionate and ambitious Nursery Chef/Cook who will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

About the job:
5. Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs
6. Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health ad Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted
7. Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
8. Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
9. To be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines
10. To deputise for the Cook in all absences with the expectation of deputising full time when this is required
About you:
11. Level 2 Food and Hygiene
12. Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
13. Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
14. Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together

Salary: From £10.47 up to £12.47 per hour based on experience and qualifications
