About the Role
We are looking for a Civils Site Manager to join our Clients Water team, delivering civil construction works for a new pumping station and pipeline project.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of pipeline, substations, power and cabling, and pipeline testing, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
2. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and align with the aspirations of the Project Manager.
3. Working closely with the Commercial Team to manage subcontractors, prepare financial forecasts, and maintain accurate records for the Health & Safety file.
4. Leading weekly site progress meetings, ensuring tasks are completed on time and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for you if:
1. You have a degree in Engineering or a related field, are chartered or working towards it, and hold relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CITB Temporary Works, CSCS Appointed Person, and IOSH/NEBOSH.
2. You have a strong track record in managing civil works contracts.
3. You possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing subcontractors and direct labour in a multi-trade environment.
