Theatre Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse (Band 6)
Location: Cambridge
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday – Friday – No Nights

Role Overview of the Senior Theatre Nurse:
The hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures. As a Theatre Practitioner/Nurse, you will support in assessing patients’ health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
* Caring for patients undergoing procedures
* Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
* Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
* Acting as either Scrub or Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialities
Requirements for the Theatre Nurse:
* HCPC/ODP or NMC registered Nurse
* At least 2 years Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience
* You will be working on rotation in different specialities; flexibility is required
