Day Technical Services Engineer (Knowsley)
We are looking for a Day Technical Services Engineer to join our team at Newsprinters Knowsley. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving our manufacturing processes. You will deliver preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum production efficiency while working collaboratively within a skilled team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Perform planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, supporting a safe working environment for employees, business partners, and visitors.
* Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing management teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
* Deliver high-quality maintenance and repairs while providing technical advice and support to the wider team.
* Participate in continuous improvement programs, identifying areas for efficiency and quality enhancement.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment across all production areas.
* Assist in developing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures.
* Attend training and development sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
* Liaise effectively with team managers, technical engineers, and production staff to ensure seamless operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Electrical or mechanical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, or HND).
* Experience working within a newspaper manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
* Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in using computer-based reporting and work management systems.
