Location: Rickmansworth or Hampton (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (DOE), Plus Excellent Benefits Package
The Role:
Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry who have been awarded a programme of work to deliver non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects for Thames Water.
Our client is looking to strengthen their operations team with a Document Controller for their joint venture framework. Based at the Rickmansworth or Hampton office, you will provide document support services to the operational team who are currently using Microsoft SharePoint to store and manage project and non-project documents.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all project documentation is correctly named, uploaded, and filed on the project document management system (TWEXnet Business Collaborator) on approved templates and version control is maintained.
2. Setting up and maintaining project handover delivery trackers.
3. Maintain satisfactory uploading of subcontractor documents to TWEXnet, i.e. update metadata to maintain consistency across all documents.
4. Maintaining and monitoring of Business Collaborator Assure and closure in RAG.
5. Maintain all site folders in a state where archiving can be completed efficiently and retrieved.
6. Complete archiving on completion of projects.
7. Produce Site Handover Packs for Operation teams.
8. Liaise with the Project Handover Manager and Project Managers, providing updates on project status and highlighting and chasing missing documentation.
9. Copying and scanning of project documentation.
10. Provide and record Asset tags to Operations teams.
Experience:
1. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
2. Experience of working in an administrative role.
3. An understanding of the eight20 end-to-end governance process and RAG dashboard.
4. TWEXnet Business Collaborator experience.
5. Good experience of document control gained within the construction sector.
6. Planning / Project Management experience.
