The Role The Education People are seeking a Business and Banking Support Officer to ensure the provision of high quality and effective administrative support to guarantee the smooth management of Schools Financial Services. The successful candidate will assist with finance support to our education customers as well as providing support for systems and supporting the Senior Leadership Team. If you have prior experience in business support or finance this could be an ideal opportunity for you. This is a part time role working 29.6 hours per week offering hybrid working. In return we will offer you: 25 days holiday rising to 30 for long service, plus bank holidays Cycle to work scheme Life assurance cover Access to Kent Rewards A culture of progression and development Flexible working arrangements Key Duties: Maintain the KCC Schools Card scheme on behalf of Schools Financial Services for maintained schools liaising with the bank and KCC’s treasury department Maintain the KCC Corporate Banking scheme on behalf of Schools Financial Services for maintained schools liaising directly with the bank and KCC’s treasury department Assist with the administration support for the Leadership Team including processing all orders and invoices reconciling Provide administration support to the team, particularly the Senior Leadership Team, including updating information systems including CRM, BPS, SharePoint, Kelsi, and any ad hoc systems updates required What we need from you Prior experience in business support or finance (Schools Finance experience would be desirable) Great analytical and organisational skills Prior experience working on Microsoft Office Ability to maintain confidentiality Good knowledge of GDPR About Commercial Services Group Commercial Services Group (CSG) is the largest, local authority-owned trading company (LATCO) in the UK, wholly owned by Kent County Council.
