Marketing Assistant Abingdon - £30,000-£35,000 (FTE) Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their worldwide, mechanical engineering company based at their UK facility in Abingdon. This is a newly created role, and they are a fabulous company to work for. They really value and look after their employees, believing in promoting from within. The ideal Marketing Assistant would have excellent communication skills, an enquiring mind, the confidence and initiative to ask questions and seek the information that they need from specialists within the company. This has the flexibility to be a full time or part time role (minimum 30 hours) with a salary of £30,000-£35,000 (pro rata if part time) dependant on experience. Once you have completed a 3-month probation period there is the option to work from home, 1 day per week. A full 3-day induction is provided, including time in the warehouse to understand the processes, and also a trip to their Head Office in Europe to get to know the wider team. Experience required for this Marketing Assistant role 3 years marketing experience minimum, B2B or B2C e-business solutions, preferably in a mechanical industry, but not essential The ability to interpret and relay manufacturing and engineering terminology into marketing material. Experience of organising exhibitions and events Ideally knowledge of First Spirit, Contentserv, Hubspot, Google analytics, Powerpoint/Sharepoint, SEM, SEA and SEO etc Marketing Assistant duties to include (full job description can be provided) Create and manage marketing communications with customers and external agencies to increase brand awareness across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with the Marketing team based at their Head Office. To include surveys, campaigns, e-shots and proofreading of texts. Manage and grow social media presence for the company to include Youtube and LinkedIn.
