Key Responsibilities: Assess individual learning needs and create tailored schemes of work. Plan and deliver structured, engaging sessions for secondary-aged students. Support students with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and other SEN to achieve their learning goals. Adapt teaching strategies to meet students’ individual needs and overcome barriers to learning. Track student progress and provide feedback to parents, carers, or other professionals. Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that builds confidence and independence. About You: Experienced in working with secondary-aged students with SEN. Skilled in assessing, planning, and delivering personalized learning interventions. Knowledgeable about SEN strategies, particularly for Autism, ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay. Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping young people succeed. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build trust with students and their families. Requirements: Experience teaching or tutoring students with SEN (QTS or SEN-specific qualifications are desirable but not essential). A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one. Flexibility to work part-time hours tailored to student availability.
